Frequently asked questions about asset management

What types of assets can I manage in MainteNeat?

Organize machines, facilities and technical equipment by site, department and category. Each record includes model, serial number, location and criticality. Child equipment remains linked to its parent asset.

Can I import an existing inventory?

During the demo, we review your current inventory and its format. Equipment codes, categories, sites and parent-child relationships help your team prepare a consistent data migration.

Is the module available on mobile?

Yes. Teams can view equipment records on their phones. Scanning a machine’s QR code helps them find information, submit a request or, depending on their permissions, open a work order and record a meter reading.

Can I customize asset record fields?

Records capture equipment-specific information including model, serial number, supplier, department, location and criticality. Share your additional field requirements during the demo so we can check support and configuration options.
